Meet the Drivers Monday: Vera Horst, Driver at Valley Transit

Vera Horst, driver at TransNet's partner, Valley Transit, has been with the company for two years. Her primary responsibility is transporting children to and from school, in addition to transporting senior citizens and other clients to their medical appointments. Being the means for children to get to school is very important as well as rewarding. The children that she transports, the smiles on their faces, as well as the conversations she has with them is what Vera most enjoys about her job. The best experience Vera had during her job was when the children had learned to say her name every time they saw her. During her "free" time, Vera enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
