Meet the Drivers Monday: George Tobias, Driver at Tri County Transit

George Tobias, driver at TransNet's partner, Tri County Transit, has been with the company for four months. His primary responsibility is driving the shuttle which transports employees from the train station to their various places of employment and back. This shuttle service allows the organization to offer transportation to and from the train station as a benefit to all employees; therefore, enhancing sustainability efforts and taking additional single occupancy vehicles off the road. The relaxed atmosphere, the freedom of being on the road and enjoying the outdoors, as well as having conversations with the consumers he transports, is what George enjoys most about his job. The best experience that George has had during his job would be the satisfaction he gets when transporting consumers to their places of employment, a medical appointment, or even the grocery store. During his "free" time George enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his family and dogs, Jake and Elwood.
