Retirement of Roseann Strang

Please join us in extending best wishes to Roseann Strang who is retiring from TransNet on June 1. Roseann has been an outstanding member of TransNet for 36 years, and will be greatly missed by all her colleagues and those who have benefited from her countless attendance at expos and presentations given to organizations and groups throughout Montgomery County over the years. Her community outreach has made her one of the most known and recognizable members of the TransNet team. She will be sorely missed and impossible to replace.

When Roseann joined the company in 1982, she was one of three employees of a fledgling company. With Roseann’s help, TransNet has been able to reach thousands of people over the years, providing them with valuable knowledge and information of transportation subsidies that are available to them through the Shared Ride Program, Medical Assistance and the PwD Program (Persons with Disabilities).

We all extend our best wishes to Roseann as she takes a long and much-deserved vacation and transitions into the next exciting phase of her life with her husband Tom.
