  • 8/15/2014 - Legislative Breakfast Is A Success On Friday, August 1st, TransNet sponsored a breakfast for area legislators at the Doubletree Suites in Plymouth Meeting. Also in attendance were representatives from the TransNet Board of Directors and staff. Representative Kate Harper facilitated the invitations to all Montgomery County legislators. Pat Moir, TransNet Executive Director, gave a presentation about the wide array of transportation services provided by TransNet to Montgomery County residents. She explained the eligibility requirements and application process for all services. Each service has specific service parameters which were outlined for the group.   • 8/15/2014 - Mid County Transportation Employees Enjoy an Appreciation Luncheon and Awards! TransNet and Mid County Transportation management expressed their appreciation to Mid County employees, during a picnic luncheon held on July 24th at the Mid County facility in North Wales. There was a short awards ceremony, and Patricia Moir, TransNet's Executive Director thanked everyone for all of their dedication to providing a quality transportation service to all TransNet consumers. Each Mid County employee received a sling bag as a token of Transnet's appreciation.
  • 8/15/2014 - New Shuttle Service To Begin... TransNet will be starting a new weekend shuttle service for Gwynedd Mercy University. The shuttle will begin on August 29th and continue through the end of the Spring semester. Gwynedd Mercy University is offering this shuttle as a convenience for resident students who want to shop and eat at stores and restaurants along Rte. 309, ending at the Montgomeryville Mall. A schedule of the weekend shuttle service will be posted on Gwynedd Mercy University’s website .
  • 8/15/2014 - New "Lifestyle" Wrap Hits The Streets TransNet has a new wrap hitting the streets. The new wrap is called “TransNet…Your Lifestyle Connection”, and the wrap features all of our services and transportation programs available to residents and employers of Montgomery and surrounding areas. The wrapped vehicles continue to be TransNet’s best source of advertising and a great way to spread the word to consumers of the many transportation options available to them. TransNet is proud to add this new wrap design to it's fleet.
