  • Senior Citizens Shared Ride Consumers/Persons with Disabilities TransNet recently implemented a new centralized reservation system in Montgomery County for the Senior Citizen Shared Ride and Persons with Disabilities Programs. This change was necessary due to the installation of our new automated scheduling system which became fully functional throughout Montgomery County on October 1, 2012. We apologize for any problems that you may have experienced during this transition. We listened to your concerns and, as a result, integrated some changes to facilitate the reservation process.   • Governor Corbett Announces Two Programs Aimed at Saving Lives Yellow Dot, Emergency Contact Information Programs are Free, Voluntary. Harrisburg- Governor Tom Corbett today announced that PennDOT is launching two voluntary programs aimed at saving the lives of Pennsylvanians in emergency situations- the Yellow Dot and Emergency Contact Information programs. "Both of these programs speak for people when they can't speak for themselves, so medical concerns can be addressed and contacts can be reached as quickly as possible," Corbett said.
